Requirements

• Obsidian v1.8.10 or higher
• A Raindrop.io account
• A Raindrop.io API token

Installing the Plugin

Manual Installation

1. Download the latest release from the GitHub releases page
2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file
3. Move the extracted folder to your Obsidian vault’s plugins folder:
   • On Windows/macOS: [Your Vault]/.obsidian/plugins/
   • On Linux: [Your Vault]/.obsidian/plugins/
4. Restart Obsidian
5. Go to Settings → Community plugins
6. Enable the “Make It Rain” plugin

Getting a Raindrop.io API Token

To use the plugin, you need to generate an API token from Raindrop.io:

1. Log in to your Raindrop.io account
2. Go to your Integrations settings page
3. Under “For Developers”, click Create new app
4. Give your app a name (e.g., “MakeItRain”)
5. Copy the Test Token that appears
6. In Obsidian, go to Settings → Make It Rain
7. Paste the token in the Raindrop.io API Token field
8. Click the Verify Token button to confirm it works
